TURIN, Italy, Feb. 20 (UPI) -- Highlights from Monday's action at the Winter Olympics:

-- Austria had about as good a day as a country can have at the Winter Games. Benjamin Raich won the men's giant slalom, Michaela Dorfmeister won the women's super-giant slalom and Austrian ski jumpers won the team event. Austria has seven gold medals, a record for that country.

-- Canada completed a march to the women's hockey gold medal by defeating Sweden, 4-1. The Canadians outscored their opponents in five Olympic games, 46-2. The United States won the bronze, 4-0 over Finland.

-- Russians Tatiana Navka and Roman Kostomarov won ice dancing gold for Russia, but the silver won by Americans Tanith Belbin and Benjamin Agosto was the best ever in the event for the United States.

-- The final men's curling standings set up United States-Canada and Finland-Britain semifinal games.

-- The American bobsled driven by Shauna Rohbock was in third place after two of four runs, just .07 of a second out of first.

-- Germany, Russia, Austria and the USA all have seven gold medals. Germany, without winning any medals Monday, still leads overall with 18.
