COL BKB: Bucknell 69, Lafayette 49

Charles Lee had 14 points, 11 rebounds and two assists Wednesday night as No. 24 Bucknell drubbed Lafayette, 69-49, for its 12th straight victory. It was Bucknell's first game since joining the Top 25 for the first time this season Monday.

EASTON, Pa., Feb. 15 (UPI) -- Charles Lee had 14 points, 11 rebounds and two assists Wednesday night as No. 24 Bucknell drubbed Lafayette, 69-49, for its 12th straight victory.

It was Bucknell's first game since joining the Top 25 for the first time this season Monday.

Kevin Bettencourt added 14 points, four rebounds and two assists, Chris McNaughton had 12 points and four rebounds and Donald Brown had 12 points, eight rebounds and three assists for the Bison (21-3, 12-0 Patriot League), who are the first school in conference history to crack the Top 25. Bucknell is off to its best 24-game start in school history.

Andrei Capusan had 12 points and eight rebounds, Bilal Abdullah added 10 points and two assists and Matt Betley totaled seven points, five rebounds and three assists for the Leopards (10-14, 4-7 Patriot League), who have lost four of their last five games.

Bucknell easily out-rebounded Lafayette, 37-19.
