Cardinals re-sign Kurt Warner

TEMPE, Ariz., Feb. 14 (UPI) -- The Arizona Cardinals re-signed former NFL MVP quarterback Kurt Warner to a three-year contract Tuesday.

Terms were not disclosed.

Warner, 34, started 10 games for Arizona last season and completed 242 of 375 passes for 2,713 yards, 11 touchdowns and nine interceptions.

His 85.8 passer rating was the best for the franchise since Neil Lomax (86.7) in 1988 and his 64.5 percent completion percentage set a new team record.
