
NORMAN, Okla., Feb. 12 (UPI) -- Michael Neal, who made six three-pointers, had 18 points and two rebounds Saturday as 20th-ranked Oklahoma buried Baylor, 80-52.
Kevin Bookout had 15 points and six rebounds; Taj Gray had 10 points, nine rebounds and three assists; Taylor Griffin had 12 points and four rebounds; while Longar Longar added totaled five points, seven rebounds and five blocked shots for the Sooners (16-5, 7-3 Big 12), who have won two straight and seven of their last eight games. Oklahoma has beaten Baylor 24 consecutive times.
Curtis Jerrells had 16 points and three rebounds; Carl Sims totaled eight points, four rebounds and two steals; and Kevis Shipman scored seven points for the Bears (2-8, 2-8 Big 12), who have lost two of their last three games after having their entire non-conference schedule wiped out by the NCAA because of past sanctions against the Baylor program.
The Sooners out-rebounded the Bears, 42-31.
