HUNTINGTON, W.Va., Feb. 11 (UPI) -- Rodney Carney had 20 points, four rebounds, two assists and two steals Saturday as 3rd-ranked Memphis beat Marshall, 91-81, for its 11th straight win.
Darius Washington also scored 20 points and had five assists and three rebounds; Robert Dozier had 13 points and 15 rebounds; Shawne Williams had 12 points, three rebounds and two assists; and Antonio Anderson added 10 points, four rebounds and six assists for the Tigers (22-2, 8-0 Conference USA).
Memphis is one win shy of matching the 1985-86 school record of 12 straight victories.
Markel Humphrey had 19 points and five rebounds; Mark Patton added 13 points, seven rebounds and two blocked shots; and Chris Ross had 10 points and seven assists for the Thundering Herd (9-13, 2-7 C-USA), who have dropped three in a row.
Memphis out-rebounded Marshall, 35-29.
