NHL: Columbus 7, Los Angeles 4

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Feb. 9 (UPI) -- Trevor Letowski and Jason Chimera each scored twice to lead the Columbus Blue Jackets to a 7-4 victory over the visiting Los Angeles Kings.

David Vyborny and Jaroslav Balastik each tallied a goal and an assist and Sergei Fedorov also scored for the Blue Jackets, who have won six of their last seven games. Marc Denis made 23 saves in goal for Columbus.

For the Kings, Derek Armstrong, Eric Belanger and Dustin Brown each had a goal and an assist for the Kings, who have dropped a season-high seven straight games. Tim Gleason also scored.

Mathieu Garon allowed six goals on 34 shots before being pulled late in the third period.
