NHL: Calgary 4, San Jose 3

SAN JOSE, Calif., Feb. 7 (UPI) -- Calgary's Daymond Langkow notched his 17th goal of the season Monday night as the visiting Flames edged the San Jose Sharks, 4-3.

Chuck Kobasew, Chris Simon and Matthew Lombardi also scored, and Robyn Regehr had three assists. Goaltender Miikka Kiprusoff made 28 saves for Calgary, which picked up its first victory in San Jose since Jan. 3, 2001.

The Sharks drew first blood 8:45 into the contest, when Patrick Marleau scored, then Milan Michalek and Jonathan Cheechoo both scored late in the third period. Evgeni Nabokov allowed four goals on 29 shots for the Sharks, who have lost six of their last seven games.
