HOUSTON, Feb. 5 (UPI) -- Chris Douglas-Roberts had 21 points and eight rebounds Saturday night as 3rd-ranked Memphis beat Rice, 84-79, for its 10th straight victory.
Rodney Carney added 13 points and six rebounds; Darius Washington Jr. added 12 points and four assists; and Shawne Williams had six of the Tigers' 14 steals for Memphis (21-2, 7-0 C-USA).

Morris Almond had a game-high 30 points, six rebounds and four steals; J.R. Harrison added 20 points, three assists and eight rebounds; and Lorenzo Williams had 14 points, eight assists and two rebounds for the Owls (9-11, 3-4 C-USA), who have lost two in a row and three of their last four games.
Memphis out-rebounded Rice, 35-30. In turnovers, Rice committed 19 to 18 by the Tigers.
