NBA: Orlando 100, Boston 91

ORLANDO, Fla., Feb. 4 (UPI) -- Steve Francis had 18 points, seven assists and six rebounds Saturday to lead the Orlando Magic to a 100-91 victory over the Boston Celtics.

Dwight Howard added 18 points and eight rebounds for the Magic, which ended a four-game losing streak. Hedo Turkoglu had 15 points, Tony Battie 14 and DeShawn Stevenson 12 as all five Orlando starters scored in double figures.

Paul Pierce scored 37 points for Boston, but the Celtics suffered their fifth straight loss. Boston got just 14 points from its bench.

Orlando began the final period with an 11-2 surge to move ahead by double digits. The Celtics got within five points, 94-89, with 1:50 left.
