Goosen a co-leader at Dubai

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates, Feb. 3 (UPI) -- Retief Goosen shot 5-under-par 67 Friday to grab a piece of the lead after two rounds of the Dubai Desert Classic.

Goosen, who was celebrating his 39th birthday, is joined at 13-under-par 131 by Anders Hansen, who carded the best round of the tournament so far with a 9-under 63 in round two.

Tiger Woods, who won the Buick Invitational last week in his first outing in 2006, was unhappy with his 6-under 66 on Friday but is at 11-under-par 133 through 36 holes, good for a third place with Nick Dougherty (66) and first-round co-leader Richard Green (69).

Jamie Donaldson, the third co-leader from Thursday, shot a 2-under 70 and is tied for sixth place with three-time winner and defending champion Ernie Els at 10-under 134. Els carded a 6-under 66 on Friday to get back into contention.
