NHL: Colorado 3, Minnesota 2

DENVER, Feb. 1 (UPI) -- Colorado's Patrice Brisebois scored the game-winning goal and added an assist to lift the Avalanche past the visiting Minnesota Wild, 3-2, Tuesday night.

Alex Tanguay and Milan Hejduk also had a goal and an assist each while David Aebischer made 27 saves for Colorado.

For Minnesota, Marian Gaborik registered a goal and an assist, Brian Rolston added his 23rd goal of the season and Manny Fernandez stopped 38 shots.

Colorado outshot Minnesota 41-29, finished 2-of-7 on the power play and held the Wild scoreless in six chances with the extra skater.
