COL BKB: Minnesota 61, Indiana 42

MINNEAPOLIS, Jan. 29 (UPI) -- Vincent Grier had 17 points, nine rebounds and two assists Sunday as unranked Minnesota destroyed No. 11 Indiana, 61-42.

J'son Stamper had 12 points, five rebounds and two assists; Spencer Tollackson had eight points and three rebounds; and Zach Puchtel had six points, four rebounds and four steals for the Golden Gophers (10-8, 1-6 Big Ten), who broke a six-game losing streak. Minnesota bounced back from a 24-point loss at Illinois on Wednesday.

Marco Killingsworth had 15 points, seven rebounds and two steals; and Robert Vaden added 11 points and six rebounds for the Hoosiers (12-5, 4-3 Big Ten), who have lost two straight and three of their last five games.

The Gophers, who made nine steals and shot 52 percent from the floor, out-rebounded the Hoosiers, 31-27.
