Woods one shot back at Buick Invitational

LA JOLLA, Calif., Jan. 28 (UPI) -- Sergio Garcia and Rod Pampling lead but Tiger Woods is only one shot back after three rounds at the Buick Invitational.

Garcia and Pampling had rounds of 4-under 68 Saturday to move into a share of the lead at 11-under 205. Woods, three-time winner and defending champion, had a 5-under 67 to move to 10-under 206, where he is tied for third with Australian Nathan Green (69).

Second-round leader Brandt Jobe struggled to a three-over 75. He shares fifth place at 207 with three-time champion Phil Mickelson (69) and Jesper Parnevik (73).

Arjun Atwal, Tim Clark and Lucas Glover are tied for eighth at 208. Jose Maria Olazabal, the 2002 champion, is alone in 11th place at 7-under 209.

The third and final rounds are being played on the more difficult South Course after play rotated over the South and North Courses for the first two rounds.
