COL BKB: Gonzaga 81, Portland 64

SPOKANE, Wash., Jan. 28 (UPI) -- Adam Morrison scored 42 points Saturday as 7th-ranked Gonzaga routed Portland, 81-64, to extend its home-court winning streak to 33 games.

J.P. Batista had 16 points and 12 rebounds; Sean Mallon added 10 points, five rebounds and two assists; and Morrison had five rebounds for the Bulldogs (17-3, 7-0 WCC), who have won eight in a row.

Pooh Jeter had 22 points, three rebounds and three assists; and Marcus Lewis added 16 points and six rebounds for the Pilots (8-13, 2-5), who lost their third straight game and have been beaten by Gonzaga 19 times in the last 20 meetings between the two schools.

Gonzaga out-rebounded Portland, 34-25.

The Pilots committed 15 turnovers to 11 for the Bulldogs -- who out-scored Portland, 40-31 in the second half after leading by 41-33 at the half.
