PITTSBURGH, Jan. 25 (UPI) -- In his best game this season, forward Pops Mensah-Bonsu had 29 points and 12 rebounds Wednesday as 15th-ranked George Washington trounced Duquesne, 94-78.
Mike Hall added 13 points and eight rebounds; Danilo Pinnock had 13 points and five assists; Omar Williams scored 11 points; and Maureece Rice scored 10 points for the Colonials (15-1, 5-0 Atlantic-10), who extended their winning streak to seven consecutive games.
Bryant McAllister had 23 points and five assists; Keith Gayden totaled 13 points and seven rebounds; and Aaron Jackson had eight points, eight assists and four rebounds for the Dukes (2-15, 0-6), who have dropped nine in a row.
GW out-rebounded Duquesne, 37-32. The Dukes committed 16 turnovers. The Colonials made 14.
