NHL: Columbus 6, Vancouver 5

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Jan. 24 (UPI) -- Trevor Letowski scored the tie-breaking goal with 4:37 left Tuesday to give the Columbus Blue Jackets a 6-5 win over the Vancouver Canucks.

Jan Hrdina added a pair of power-play goals and Bryan Berard had a goal and two assists in the win, the Blue Jackets' sixth in their last seven home games.

Marc Denis made 28 saves to preserve the victory, while Columbus converted 4-of-9 power-play opportunities.

Todd Bertuzzi, Nolan Baumgartner and Daniel Sedin each had a goal and an assist for the Canucks. Alex Auld stopped 37 of 43 shots in defeat.
