COL BKB: Iowa 76, Minnesota 72 (3 OT)

IOWA CITY, Iowa, Jan. 19 (UPI) -- Greg Brunner had 17 points and 23 rebounds Wednesday night as No. 25 Iowa beat Minnesota, 76-72, in triple overtime.

Erek Hansen had a career-high 20 points and six rebounds; Jeff Horner registered 10 points, 10 rebounds and five assists; and Adam Haluska added 12 points and four rebounds for the Hawkeyes (14-4, 3-1 Big Ten), who won their third straight game despite going 1-for-20 on three-point shots.

Maurice Hargrow had 16 points and six rebounds; Vincent Grier had 15 points and 10 rebounds; Adam Boone scored 14 points; and Jonathan Williams added 11 points and 10 rebounds for the Golden Gophers (9-6, 0-4), who have lost four straight games.

Iowa out-rebounded Minnesota, 51-49, and committed 16 turnovers to 14 by the Gophers.
