Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

SALT LAKE CITY, Jan. 17 (UPI) -- Andrei Kirilenko posted the first triple-double of his career Tuesday as the Utah Jazz beat the Toronto Raptors, 111-98.
Kirilenko had 18 points, 16 rebounds and 11 assists for the Jazz, who put an end to a two-game losing streak and won for the ninth time in their past 12 games.
The effort was Utah's first triple-double since Karl Malone achieved the feat on May 4, 1999 against the Los Angeles Clippers.
Mehmet Okur scored 29 points for the Jazz.
Chris Bosh scored 27 points and Jalen Rose 16 for the Raptors, who had a two-game winning streak halted.
