NBA: Toronto 129, New York 103

NEW YORK, Jan. 15 (UPI) -- Reserve Jalen Rose compiled a season-high 31 points and six assists Sunday as Toronto slammed the New York Knicks, 129-103.

Morris Peterson had 28 points and four assists; Chris Bosh registered 23 points and six rebounds; and Jose Calderon had 13 points and 10 assists while subbing for the injured Mike James. Toronto improved to 13-24 with its second straight victory after a franchise record points total.

Eddy Curry had 20 points and six rebounds; Stephon Marbury had 18 points and 13 assists; rookie David Lee had 15 points and 12 boards; and Channing Frye had 15 points and six rebounds for the Knicks (13-22), who had a six-game winning streak snapped with their first loss in 2006.

Toronto led, 66-53 at the half and out-rebounded the Knicks, 37-33.
