COL BKB: Washington 69, UCLA 65

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 14 (UPI) -- Jamaal Williams led a balanced scoring attack with 14 points Saturday as No. 13 Washington beat 12th-ranked UCLA, 69-65.

Jon Brockman had 12 points and six rebounds; Bobby Jones compiled 11 points and 12 rebounds; and Brandon Roy had 10 points, three rebounds and four assists for Washington (14-2, 3-2 Pac-10), which has won its last two contests.

Michael Roll had 17 points and two assists; Arron Afflalo added 16 points and three boards; and Luc Richard Mbah had 13 points and 11 rebounds for the Bruins (14-3, 4-2 Pac-10), who had a three-game winning streak snapped.

Washington won the battle of the boards, 31-25. The Bruins were guilty of 19 turnovers while the Huskies made 13.

Washington won despite a 12-point deficit at halftime.
