Tommie Harris' wife dies

CANBERRA, Australia, Jan. 13 (UPI) -- Anabel Medina Garrigues topped Yoon Jeong Cho, 6-4, 0-6, 6-4, in Friday's final at the Canberra (Australia) International.
The 23-year-old Medina Garrigues earned $22,900 for the victory.
"You always have to think you can win but you also have to know that it will be very tough," a fatigued Medina Garrigues said afterwards.
The un-seeded Cho, 26, failed in her bid to capture her first championship in three career WTA finals.
