SYDNEY, Jan. 13 (UPI) -- James Blake Friday rolled to a 6-4, 6-2 win over Nikolay Davydenko in the semifinals at the Medibank International in Sydney, Australia.

Blake -- who had not advanced past the first round in his previous two visits to the Sydney event -- rose to 4-0 lifetime against Davydenko. He will be after his fourth career title on Saturday.

"This is a great way to start the year off," Blake said. "When I looked at the draw at the start of the tournament, I could see some of the top players in the game ... so to be in the final is a pretty good accomplishment."

Igor Andreev posted a 6-2, 2-6, 6-2 win over Andreas Seppi to set up a championship match against Blake on Saturday.

The winner will claim a first prize of $57,750.
