NHL: Boston 6, Tampa Bay 3

BOSTON, Jan. 7 (UPI) -- Milan Jurcina scored his first two NHL goals Saturday to lead the Boston Bruins to a 6-3 victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning.

P.J. Axelsson added a goal and two assists and Marco Sturm and Patrice Bergeron each added a goal and an assist for the Bruins.

Boston scored the final five goals.

Andrew Raycroft made 29 saves for Boston before leaving late in the game.

The Bruins have won four straight against Tampa Bay and have not lost to the Lightning at home since a 3-0 defeat on April 9, 1994. They have 16 wins and five ties during the streak.

Boston lost the services of center Alexei Zhamnov, who left the game late in the second period after breaking his left ankle while attempting to check a Tampa Bay player.

Evgeny Artyukhin had a goal and an assist, and Fredrik Modin and Vincent Lecavalier also scored for the Lightning.
