ORLANDO, Fla., Jan. 2 (UPI) -- Brian Calhoun rushed for 213 yards Monday as the 20th-ranked Wisconsin Badgers posted a 24-10 win over seventh-ranked Auburn in the Capital One Bowl.

Wisconsin quarterback John Stocco completed 15-of-27 passes for 301 yards with two touchdowns. Brandon Williams caught six passes for 173 yards.

Wisconsin (10-3) had 10 wins for just the fourth time in school history.

Wisconsin Coach Barry Alvarez announced during the season that he would step down to concentrate full-time on the school's athletic director position.

The Badgers made 11 bowl appearances in 13 years under Alvarez, with an 8-3 mark in those games.

Auburn (9-3) had a four-game winning streak halted. Brandon Cox finished 15-of-33 for 137 yards with a touchdown and an interception for the Tigers.
