NBA: Phoenix 110, Charlotte 100

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Dec. 31 (UPI) -- Eddie House scored 26 points off the bench Friday night to help the Phoenix Suns beat Charlotte, 110-100.

Steve Nash registered 24 points and 13 assists, Shawn Marion had 24 points and 13 rebounds, Boris Diaw compiled 11 points and 12 boards while Kurt Thomas added 10 points and 12 rebounds for the Suns (18-10), who have won the first three games of a five-game road swing.

Keith Bogans scored 18 points, Gerald Wallace added 15 points and nine rebounds, and Jumaine Jones had 12 points and six rebounds for Charlotte (10-20), which failed in its quest for the first three-game winning streak in franchise history.

Phoenix out-rebounded the Bobcats, 51-33. The Suns closed out strong after trailing, 89-87, with just under eight minutes remaining.
