
COLLEGE PARK, Md., Dec. 31 (UPI) -- D.J. Strawberry scored a team-high 16 points Saturday as 16th-ranked Maryland rolled over VMI, 99-68.
Chris McCray registered 15 points and three assists; Parrish Brown rang up 13 points, four assists and three rebounds; and Travis Garrison scored 12 for the Terrapins (10-2), who have won five straight and nine of their last 10 games. Maryland, which extended its home-court winning streak to 11 games, has won 28 straight games at home against non-ACC opposition.
Reggie Williams rang up 19 points, two rebounds and two assists while Matt Murrer had 17 points and eight rebounds for the Keydets (5-6), who have dropped two in a row following a five-game winning streak.
The Terps out-rebounded VMI, 36-27 while the Keydets made 17 turnovers to Maryland's 12.
