SAN DIEGO, Dec. 30 (UPI) -- Clint Ingram intercepted a Brady Leaf pass with 33 seconds in the game left to help Oklahoma hold off No. 6 Oregon, 17-14, in the Holiday Bowl.

The Sooners (8-4) came alive for a 14-point third quarter to catch the Ducks (10-2), turning a 7-3 halftime deficit into a 17-7 lead.

On Oklahoma's second possession of the half, Rhett Bomar found J.D. Runnels along the right side of the end zone for a 17-yard TD pass to give the Sooners a lead they never lost.

Leaf led a late comeback attempt, finishing 14-of-24 for 136 yards with a touchdown, but came up short as Oregon lost for the first time since Sept. 24.

Bomar completed 17 of 30 passes for 229 yards with a touchdown and an interception for the Sooners.
