COL BKB: Nevada 56, Norfolk St. 46

RENO, Nev., Dec. 30 (UPI) -- Marcelus Kemp scored 15 points and Nick Fazekas added 14 to lead 20th-ranked Nevada past Norfolk State, 56-46.

Fazekas also had six rebounds and Denis Ikovlev and Mo Charlo chipped in six points apiece for the Wolf Pack (9-1), which continued its best start since the 1978-79 squad won 10 of its first 11 games.

Tynell Dunkley netted nine points and five rebounds as no Norfolk State player reached double figures in scoring. Tony Murphy and Keith Young each had eight points for the Spartans (2-9), who saw their losing streak reach five games.
