GAINESVILLE, Fla., Dec. 30 (UPI) -- Joakim Noah scored 18 points Friday to lead fifth-ranked Florida to an 84-47 rout of Florida A&M.

Chris Richard rang up 13 points and nine rebounds while Lee Humphrey -- who was 4-for-4 on three-pointers -- and Adrian Moss each scored 12 for the Gators (12-0), who extended the best start in school history by winning for the 12th straight game to start the season. The Gators also set a school record for wins before New Year's Day with their 14th consecutive home-court victory.

Tony Tate had a game-high 21 points and Jonathan Kelly collected six points and seven rebounds for the Rattlers (4-8), who have lost seven of their last eight games.

The Gators, who committed only nine turnovers, held a slim 32-31 rebounding edge.
