VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Dec. 29 (UPI) -- Richard Park scored the only third-period goal to lead the Vancouver Canucks past the visiting Nashville Predators, 4-3.
The Canucks' Mattias Ohlund scored, Ed Jovanovski had a goal and two assists while Markus Naslund recorded his 21st goal and assist of the season for Vancouver, which snapped a five-game losing streak. Goaltender Alexander Auld finished with 32 saves.

Darcy Hordichuk, Marek Zidlicky and Yanic Perreault each had goals for the Predators, who had a six-game winning streak snapped. Chris Mason turned away 28 shots in the loss.
