NHL: Minnesota 4, Edmonton 2

EDMONTON, Alberta, Dec. 29 (UPI) -- Minnesota's Marian Gaborik scored a pair of goals as the visiting Wild swept back-to-back games with a 4-2 win over the Edmonton Oilers.

Randy Robitaille and Brian Rolston also had goals for the Wild, who have won three straight. Manny Fernandez made 28 saves for Minnesota, which handed the Oilers a 4-1 loss on Monday night.

Minnesota's first two shots on the night were both goals.

Steve Staios and Ales Hemsky were the goal scorers for Edmonton. Goaltender Ty Conklin stopped 19 of the 22 shots he faced.
