COL BKB: Illinois 89, SE Missouri St. 64

CHAMPAIGN, Ill., Dec. 29 (UPI) -- Dee Brown scored a team-high 16 points Wednesday night as sixth-ranked Illinois rolled over Southeast Missouri State, 89-64.

Jamar Smith and Warren Carter both scored 14 points, Carter also grabbed seven rebounds while James Augustine recorded 12 points and added eight boards for the Illini (13-0), who have fashioned a 28-game home-court winning streak.

Roy Booker scored a game-high 26 points, Andrais Thornton added 10 points and seven rebounds, and Eric Burtin also scored 10 points for the Redhawks (4-7), who have dropped four of their last five games.

Iliinois enjoyed a large 48-24 advantage in rebounding. Even though the contest was a rout, it contained only 21 turnovers overall, with the Illini committing 12 to just nine by the Redhawks.
