COL BKB: Maryland 68, Delaware State 54

COLLEGE PARK, Md., Dec. 28 (UPI) -- Nik Caner-Medley scored 16 points Wednesday night as 14th-ranked Maryland beat Delaware State, 68-54.

Ekene Ibekwe registered 12 points and 10 rebounds while Chris McCray added 11 points for the Terrapins (9-2), who have won four straight and eight of their last nine games.

Jahsha Bluntt scored 24 points and Aaron Fleetwood added eight for the Hornets (2-9), who have lost four in a row and eight of their last nine games.

Maryland out-rebounded the Hornets, 27-17.
