BALTIMORE, Dec. 26 (UPI) -- Kyle Boller threw three touchdown passes Sunday night as the Baltimore Ravens beat Minnesota, 30-23.

The loss eliminated the Vikings from NFC playoff contention after Chicago won the NFC North earlier in the day with a 24-17 victory over the Green Bay Packers. Minnesota led the contest by 20-17 entering the fourth quarter but was out-scored, 13-3, in the closing 15 minutes.

Boller was 24-for-34 passing for 290 yards, the three scores and one interception, Jamal Lewis ran for 77 yards on 24 attempts while Derrick Mason and Mark Clayton combined for 193 yards on 14 catches and two touchdowns for the Ravens (6-9), who are trying to avoid their first 10-loss season since Brian Billick was named coach in 1999.

Brad Johnson went 25-for-36 for 248 yards, two touchdowns, and no interceptions while Jermaine Wiggins made seven catches for 43 yards and one touchdown for Minnesota (8-7).
