NBA: Denver 108, Houston 86

DENVER, Dec. 24 (UPI) -- Carmelo Anthony scored 25 points Friday night as Denver routed the Houston Rockets, 108-86.

Andre Miller rang up 19 points, nine assists and five rebounds while Marcus Camby added 12 points and 16 rebounds for the Nuggets (13-14), who snapped a four-game skid.

Juwan Howard led Houston with 18 points while Tracy McGrady, who was just 4-for-17 from the field, scored 17. The out-manned Rockets (10-15), who have dropped two in a row, again played without injured All-Star center Yao Ming, and key reserves Jon Barry, Rafer Alston, Derek Anderson and Dikembe Mutombo.

The Rockets, who were out-rebounded by a 58-49 margin, shot just 31.4 percent for the game.
