CORAL GABLES, Fla., Dec. 23 (UPI) -- Joakim Noah scored 18 points Thursday night to help fifth-ranked Florida beat in-state rival Miami-Fla., 77-67.
Lee Humphrey had 15 points on 5-of-6 three-point shooting, Corey Brewer added 13 and Taurean Green scored 11 points for the unbeaten Gators (11-0), who are off to the best start in school history.

Guillermo Diaz scored 25 points, Anthony Harris had 16 and Robert Hite added 12 points for the Hurricanes (6-5), who have dropped two straight and four of their last six games.
The Gators held a slight 35-33 edge in rebounding. Miami committed 16 turnovers to Florida's 14.
Miami shot 40.8 percent from the floor compared to Florida's 39.3 percent.
