HOUSTON, Dec. 22 (UPI) -- Mike James scored 19 points and Morris Peterson had 18 along with seven assists as the visiting Toronto Raptors downed the Houston Rockets, 94-81.

Chris Bosh added 17 points and eight rebounds, while Matt Bonner delivered 12 points off the bench for the Raptors, who never trailed at any point.

For the Rockets, Juwan Howard compiled 21 points and 12 rebounds, but Tracy McGrady was held to just seven points on 2-of-11 shooting. Luther Head dropped in 20 points in the loss.

Houston played its second straight game without All-Star center Yao Ming, who underwent surgery on an infected toe earlier in the week. The Rockets also played without guards Jon Barry and Derek Anderson, both due to calf strains, while backup center Dikembe Mutombo missed with a dislocated finger.
