MIAMI, Dec. 20 (UPI) -- Shaquille O'Neal scored 28 points in Coach Pat Riley's 2005 home debut Tuesday as the Miami Heat routed the Atlanta Hawks, 111-92.

O'Neal, 13-of-15 from the floor, also had 10 rebounds for the Heat, who have won five of their last six games.

The Heat improved to 4-1 since Riley took over the team last week. The game marked the first time Riley has coached in Miami since April 2003 after the Heat had opened with four straight road games under their new coach.

Gerald Fitch came off the bench to score 15 points and Gary Payton added 15 points and eight assists for Miami.

Marvin Williams had a career-high 26 points for the Hawks, who lost for just the second time in their last six games. Josh Childress added 14 points and nine rebounds in the loss.
