NBA: Detroit 93, Portland 89

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Dec. 20 (UPI) -- Richard Hamilton scored 23 points to lead five Detroit players in double figures Tuesday as the Pistons posted a 93-89 victory over Portland.

Tayshaun Prince had 21 points and Chauncey Billups added 19 points and 10 assists, as the Pistons won their fifth straight game.

Ben Wallace had 13 points and 14 rebounds and Rasheed Wallace 11 points and seven rebounds for Detroit, which became the first NBA team this season to hit the 20-win mark (20-3).

Zach Randolph had 37 points and 11 rebounds for the Trail Blazers, who lost their fourth game in a row. Juan Dixon and Ruben Patterson each had 14 points in the loss.
