NFL: NY Jets 26, Oakland 10

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Dec. 11 (UPI) -- Mike Nugent kicked four field goals Sunday as the New York Jets topped the Oakland Raiders, 26-10, to snap a seven-game slide.

Cedric Houston -- serving as the Jets' lead running back after Curtis Martin was declared out for the rest of the season because of a knee injury -- ran for 74 yards and a touchdown on 28 carries; Brooks Bollinger was 14-of-26 for 119 yards and a touchdown; and Justin McCareins and Jerald Sowell combined for eight catches for 65 yards and one score for the Jets (3-10).

Marques Tuiasosopo, making his first career start, went 14-of-26 for 124 yards, one touchdown, two interceptions and two fumbles; former Jet LaMont Jordan was held to only 49 yards on 14 carries; and Jerry Porter made four receptions for 36 yards and one touchdown for the Raiders (4-9), who have lost three in a row.
