
PHILADELPHIA, Dec. 10 (UPI) -- Dustin Salisbery scored a game-high 20 points Saturday to help Temple top 19th-ranked Alabama, 68-58.
Salisbery also had nine rebounds and three assists while Antywane Robinson rang up 17 points and 11 rebounds; Mardy Collins had 15 points, three rebounds and three assists and Mark Tyndale had 10 points, seven assists and four boards for the Owls (5-2), who beat a ranked team for the first time since a 71-64 victory over No. 10 Indiana on Dec. 28, 2002.
Jean Felix led the Crimson Tide (4-3) with 19 points, Ronald Steele added 10, and Wooden Award candidate Chuck Davis was held to eight points -- over 11 below his season average -- for the Crimson Tide, who have dropped two straight.
The Owls, who scored the first 10 points of the second half to open a 45-31 lead, enjoyed a 34-30 edge in rebounding and committed only three turnovers in the contest.
