CHICAGO, Dec. 8 (UPI) -- Tyler Arnason scored 1:20 into overtime to nudge the Chicago Blackhawks to a 2-1 victory over the visiting New York Rangers at the United Center.

Jaroslav Spacek notched his fourth goal of the season and Nikolai Khabibulin made 30 saves for the Black Hawks. Brent Seabrook recorded his 12th assist of the season on Arnason's game-winner.

Petr Prucha scored the Rangers' lone goal and Henrik Lundqvist stopped 17 of 19 shots for New York, which lost for the second time in its last three games.

Chicago was awarded a four-minute power-play just 47 seconds into overtime after the Rangers' Martin Rucinsky drew blood from forward Marc Bell on a high-sticking call.
