DETROIT, Dec. 4 (UPI) -- Brad Johnson completed 17 of 23 passes for 256 yards and two touchdowns Sunday to lead the Minnesota Vikings to a 21-16 victory over the Detroit Lions.
The Vikings (7-5) won their fifth straight game with the Johnson at the helm. He also became the 51st quarterback in NFL history to go over 25,000 passing yards in his career.
Koren Robinson caught four of Johnson's passes for 148 yards and a TD. Michael Bennett rushed 22 times for 79 yards and a TD and also had a receiving touchdown in the win.
Jeff Garcia was 17-of-35 for 126 yards and an interception for the Lions (4-8), who have lost four of their last five games. Artose Pinner rushed for 64 yards and a touchdown in the loss, the Lions' first under interim coach Dick Jauron, who took over when the team fired Steve Mariucci last week.
