NFL: Jacksonville 20, Cleveland 14

CLEVELAND, Dec. 4 (UPI) -- David Garrard had two touchdown passes and a late 28-yard scamper Sunday as the Jacksonville Jaguars posted a 20-14 victory over the Cleveland Browns.

Garrard, playing in place of injured Byron Leftwich, completed 11-of-20 passes for 116 yards, while Greg Jones ran for 103 yards in the victory.

Jimmy Smith caught three passes for 49 yards and the go-ahead touchdown for Jacksonville (9-3), which has won five straight games.

Cleveland's Charlie Frye completed 13-of-20 passes for 226 yards and two touchdowns in his first NFL start, while Reuben Droughns rushed 30 times for 88 yards in the loss.
