COL BKB: Wake Forest 78, Elon 59

GREENSBORO, N.C., Dec. 3 (UPI) -- Justin Gray scored 22 points Saturday to lead the 23rd-ranked Wake Forest Demon Deacons to a 78-59 victory over the Elon Phoenix.

Eric Williams added 14 points, Kyle Visser 13 and Trent Strickland 10 points and 12 rebounds for the Demon Deacons (7-1), who have won five straight since their only loss of the season against 11th-ranked Florida on Nov. 17.

Montell Watson led the Phoenix with 13 points. Brett James and Le'Vonn Jordan both had 10 points, as Elon (1-5) suffered its fifth straight loss.
