ST. PAUL, Minn., Dec. 1 (UPI) -- Jaroslav Balastik scored in the final round of a shootout Wednesday to give the Columbus Blue Jackets a 3-2 victory over the Minnesota Wild.

Mikko Koivu and Randy Robitaille scored for Minnesota, which rallied from a two-goal deficit to force overtime but lost for the fifth time in its last seven games.

Manny Fernandez made 29 saves in defeat, but was brilliant in overtime when he stopped all seven shots he faced.
