NBA: Philadelphia 107, Portland 83

PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 29 (UPI) -- Allen Iverson had 38 points and eight rebounds to help the Philadelphia 76ers defeat the Portland Trail Blazers, 107-83.

Philadelphia Coach Maurice Cheeks coached the Blazers for four years before being fired last March.

Chris Webber had 16 points and 15 rebounds and Kyle Korver added 16 points for Philadelphia. John Salmons tallied 13 points for the Sixers, who held a 60-30 rebound advantage.

Iverson hit 16-of-27 from the floor and made all five of his foul shots, as Philadelphia beat Portland for the fifth time in the last seven meetings.

Zach Randolph scored 24 points and Darius Miles had 13 for the Trail Blazers, who have lost five of their last seven games.
