NBA: Golden State 99, New Orleans 83

OAKLAND, Calif., Nov. 29 (UPI) -- Baron Davis scored 17 points vs. his former team, as the Golden State Warriors downed the visiting New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets, 99-83.

Jason Richardson had 17 points and eight rebounds, and Derek Fisher also scored 17 points for Golden State, which won its third in a row. Troy Murphy added 16 points and 10 rebounds for the Warriors.

Davis shot 7-of-16 from the field, but just 1-of-9 from a three-point range, and also had nine assists.

Chris Paul had 15 points and David West added 14 points and 11 rebounds for the Hornets, who had a two-game winning streak broken.

Mike Dunleavy finished with 10 points for the Warriors, while Desmond Mason and Rasual Butler each scored 10 for the Hornets.
