
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Nov. 28 (UPI) -- A touchdown pass by Aaron Brooks in the fourth quarter Sunday night gave New Orleans a 21-19 win over the New York Jets.
Overall, Brooks was 17-of-23 passing for 181 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions, Donte' Stallworth caught five passes for 48 yards and a score, Joe Horn made four catches for 49 yards and Aaron Stecker gained 54 yards on 11 attempts for the Saints (3-8), who snapped a six-game losing streak.
Brooks Bollinger was 19-of-28 for 251 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions while Curtis Martin ran for 91 yards on 24 carries to become just the fourth player in NFL history to rush for at least 14,000 yards. Jericho Cotchery and Justin McCareins combined for 143 yards on seven receptions for the Jets (2-9), who have lost four in a row. Rookie Mike Nugent missed a possible game-winning 53-yard field goal try.
