
MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 27 (UPI) -- Brad Johnson threw three touchdown passes Sunday as the Minnesota Vikings beat the Cleveland Browns, 24-12.
Johnson, who now is the Vikings' starter at quarterback, was 19-of-28 for 207 yards, the three scores and one interception.
Marcus Robinson caught all three of Johnson's scoring tosses, Travis Taylor made five catches for 70 yards and Jermaine Wiggins made five grabs for 67 yards, and Mewelde Moore rushed for 67 yards on 21 attempts as Minnesota (6-5) won its fourth straight game to go above .500 for the first time this season.
Trent Dilfer, who lost two fumbles, was 23-of-35 passing for 214 yards, one touchdown pass and two interceptions, Reuben Droughns rushed for 73 yards and added another 46 yards on five catches, Steve Heiden made five receptions for 55 yards and Dennis Northcutt had a nine-yard scoring catch for the Browns (4-7), who have lost five of their last seven games.
